Private Event Catering
Munich RBC brings private event catering to Columbia, IL with a soccer pub setting, full bar service, and menus built around whatever you’re celebrating. Whether you’re planning a match day watch party, a bridal or baby shower, a rehearsal dinner, a corporate gathering, or a holiday party, we handle the food, the beer, and the room so you can focus on your guests. Located inside Powerhaus at 8719 Hanover Industrial Drive in Columbia, we’re a short drive from Waterloo, Millstadt, and the rest of Monroe County, and an easy trip down Illinois Route 3 or across the Jefferson Barracks Bridge for guests coming from St. Louis.
How Much Space Does Munich RBC Have?
Munich RBC can accommodate groups inside Powerhaus, with flexible arrangement of tables, bar seating, and screen sightlines depending on your event type. A soccer watch party for a supporters’ group needs a different setup than a rehearsal dinner or a corporate holiday gathering, and we walk through your guest count and goals before recommending a layout.
- Soccer watch parties and supporters’ club gatherings, with screens positioned for match viewing
- Bridal showers, baby showers, and similar celebrations
- Rehearsal dinners for weddings in the Columbia and Metro East area
- Corporate gatherings, team outings, and client appreciation events
- Holiday parties, from office celebrations to family gatherings
Built Around the Match, Not Just the Meal
Munich RBC was built on the idea that soccer deserves a proper home in the Metro East, and that same idea shapes how we host private events. We’re not a banquet hall that occasionally turns on a game. We’re a working soccer pub with screens tuned to EPL, Bundesliga, and MLS fixtures, cold Rockwell Beer Company pours, and a layout that works whether your group is here for kickoff or for a rehearsal dinner toast. Guests coming from Columbia neighborhoods near Route 3, from Waterloo, or from across the river in St. Louis find us easy to reach and easy to settle into for a few hours.
How Does Booking a Private Event Work?
Booking a private event at Munich RBC starts with a call or a request through our contact form, where we confirm your date, guest count, and event type, then follow up with menu and package options. We recommend reaching out as early as possible for high-demand dates like major match days, wedding weekends, and the holiday season, since those slots on our Columbia calendar fill first.

FOR MY COLUMBIA EVENT
CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE MENU?
es, Munich RBC customizes menus for private events based on your guest count, event type, and any dietary needs your group has. A soccer watch party might lean into shareable pub bites built for a long match, while a rehearsal dinner or corporate event might call for a more structured plated or buffet-style menu.
Our team works directly with you to build a menu that fits the occasion rather than handing you a single fixed option.
- Shareable match day spreads for watch parties and supporters’ gatherings
- Buffet-style setups for showers and larger celebrations
- Structured menus for rehearsal dinners and corporate events
- Beer pairing suggestions from our Rockwell Beer Company tap list for any package
WHAT’S ON TAP FOR MY EVENT?
WHY HOST YOUR COLUMBIA, IL EVENT AT A SOCCER PUB?
Columbia sits about 11 miles south of downtown St. Louis, close enough for city guests to make the drive but far enough to feel like its own community, and Munich RBC gives that community a real gathering spot beyond the usual banquet room. Our founders started Rockwell Beer Company in St. Louis and brought it to Columbia because the Metro East market lacked a place built specifically around soccer culture. That same energy carries into private events: a rehearsal dinner here doesn’t feel like a rented hall, and a corporate holiday party isn’t stuck under fluorescent lights. It’s a working pub with a crowd, a tap list, and screens tuned to the sport, whether your guests bleed gold for a specific club or just want good beer and good company.
Munich RBC’s tap list rotates regularly and includes house favorites alongside guest collaborations, giving every event a fresh lineup. Recent options have included Passing Clouds, a hazy IPA at 6.2% ABV with citrus and tropical hop character, Stand-By, a clean 4.5% American lager built for match days, and Crisp Chinos, a biscuity 4.8% pilsner with a dry finish. We’re happy to walk through the current full tap list when you book so you can plan pairings for your group.
